Primary Duties and Responsibilities
A. Provides basic help desk support for problems and service requests related to hardware, software, network connectivity and application support.
B. Initiates, escalates or resolves work order requests. Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems, escalates to next level of support resources. Facilitates closure to work orders while meeting or exceeding defined service level expectations as currently set.
C. Ensures customer satisfaction by responding to work order requests through approved channels to the Help Desk in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
D. Provide assistance to PC Support Specialist if needed for installation or updates to desktop hardware or software.
E. Setup and support of mobile devices for company resources.
F. Acquires and maintains current knowledge of relevant product/service offerings and support policies to provide technically accurate solutions to customers.
G. Ensure user conformance with Company Acceptable Use and Security policies, procedures and standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
A. Broad knowledge of PC software, hardware, desktop operating systems, and Office productivity software.
B. Must be able to define and evaluate multiple solutions to the problem at hand, and decide on the appropriate solution.
C. Must possess familiarity with desktop equipment troubleshooting, connectivity, assembly, and routine maintenance.
D. Be able to communicate effectively and develop excellent rapport with internal customers at all levels, coworkers, and vendor technical support staff.
